Men's Retreat

Hey, Hilltown/YA,

Men, don't forget about the retreat starting this Friday through Sunday.  I will be there from start until after the bon-fire Saturday night, then heading back down the mountain to be here for Sunday School & Worship on Sunday.  I trust I'll see all of you at some point this weekend, either on the mountain, or on the coast!  I'm looking forward to it!

Ladies, we covet your prayers.  As each of us men seek to keep wrapping our lives around the gospel (the meaning, by the way, of the word "Reformation"!), we need you ladies lifting us up in prayer as we take our turn heading up the mountain for fellowship together around the word.

Strike that... reverse it!

I got my wires crossed on our Fridays!  Yikes... sleep deprivation is scary!

Instead of 1st & 3rd Fridays, WE WILL BE MEETING 2ND AND 4TH FRIDAYS AT OUR HOUSE!

Again, this is a casual time of food, conversation, and spiritual encouragement.  We'll begin the 4th Friday of April.  See you then!

The Pastor is still in...

Some of  you have asked, so let me inform you... I'm still serving as Pastor in the Pub on Thursday afternoons.  With varying circumstances, my hours can change, but, generally, I strive to be there between 3 & 6 on Thursdays.  The info is on the calendar.... I'll see you there!

Sunday Night Prayer

Calling all prayer warriors!  Our Sunday night prayer times have been incredible!  It's amazing to see our Lord drawing folks' hearts together on the issues of unity, repentance, expectancy, discipline, etc. within our CCC family.

I would love to see more Hilltown/YA faces in the crowd.  Make this a priority, and we'll see you Sunday nights at 6:30 pm.

Heidelberg Study

Anyone who wants to continue studying the Heidelberg Catechism, please email me (jwood@3c.org) and let me know which works better:  Sunday night after prayer meeting, 2nd and 4th Monday nights, or Saturday mornings.  Thanks!

Oh, Baby!

Hey everyone!  Thanks for the respite after baby Jonathan arrived.  It's been so good to just observe for the last couple months as I've seen each of you faithfully attending worship, serving in your particular ministries, and working to create a more solid community here at CCC.  As you know this past month has brought significant changes for our church, and despite the Devil's kicking and screaming, our elders are continuing to lead under conviction of the Spirit and move our church toward greater Reformation.

With the changes at church, will be coming some adjustments to my responsibilities, so, before the madness begins (too late!), I wanted to remind you all that we will be picking back up this month with our Friday night meetings (first and third Fridays) starting April 18.  Come to our house around 6pm, bring a food item, an encouraging word, and a prayer to share.

We love and appreciate all of you and look forward to getting back together.

Hilltown Schedule

No Hilltown this Sunday night (January 20).  We will be getting together on Friday nights to worship, study, pray.  Plan on February 1st for our next get-together!  And check the calender link to the right... it will keep you updated when you need to check the sched really fast!
